Resumé:
Web 2.0 is envisioned as an open garden for services and it puts people into the center of the vision. The success of the user generated content raises the new idea of enabling end-users to create their own services. Currently end-user participates in the service creation process to generate lightweight services for their specific purpose. Plenty of mashup platforms have been set up, but still lack of intuitiveness and easy-of-use, mostly designed for tech-inclined people. The objective of the thesis is to research on solutions from end-user point of view, to provide end-users more intuitive and easy-to-use platforms to generate services, then to propose a clear use case from the end-user motivation, and finally, to perform prototype and demonstration.
