Resumé:
The aim of this research project is to develop new methods and/or architectures for logic functions carrying to optimized trade-offs involving reliability and the classical performance metrics (power consumption, area and time). It includes research for the most suitable granularity level of calculation and definition of judicious mechanisms to be implemented for fault-prevention and fault-tolerance. Of course, metrics for reliability evaluation are useful in this kind of work and the project will lean on tools and models of reliability developed by TELECOM ParisTech.
