Resumé:
The aim of the thesis is to develop technologies for automatic language processing and information extraction from Henri Basnage's Dictionnaire Universel, published in 1701. In particular, the PhD student will develop and apply neural linguistic analysis techniques (language models, transfer learning, etc.) to enable the automatic digitization and annotation of the content of the Dictionary, in the wider context of the ANR BASNUM project, dedicated to its lexicographic study.
