Resumé: By increasing 5G and beyond networks, one of the most challenging problems most Operators will encounter in the near future is decreasing the energy consumed by their telecommunication networks. By doing so, not only do they reduce their OpEx costs, but they also produce fewer greenhouse gases. However, the most difficult part of reducing the consumed energy in telecommunication networks is not violating the SLAs of user services. In this PhD thesis, we want to address this challenge by proposing an Intelligent management and orchestration framework. To do so, we will use machine learning along with optimization algorithms to do continuous optimization in a telecommunication network. Finally, for examining the efficiency of our proposed green (energy-aware) solution, we use SMO as a basic management and orchestration framework in Open RAN to implement and test our proposed solution
Résumé dans une autre langue: Le candidat va explorer et appliquer les principes et technologies Open RAN/O-RAN aux réseaux d'accès mobiles de 6ieme génération en permettant de observer, opérer, et analyser dynamiquement le réseau. Le candidat va élaborer également des modèles mathématiques applicable au système réel et les valider par prototypage a fin d'optimiser la performance de réseaux d’aces en fonction d’efficacité énergétique suivant les besoin de service.
