Resumé: The emergence of 6G network promise groundbreaking capabilities and unprecedented performance, enabling new use cases and applications. To meet these expectations, novel technologies and architectures are being investigated. While 6G architecture is stil not defined by Standard Developing Organizations (SDOs), it is expected to introduce new entities into the market, each providing resources or services to their clients. This creates a collaborative environment aimed to enhance the end-user experience. Consequently, such an expansion profoundly impacts network infrastructure, which is anticipated to become more complex due to the emergence of multi-vendor and multi-domain concepts. Existing network management solutions, tailored for centralized domains, face challenges in adapting to this evolving environment. In this thesis, we explore new approaches for enabling distributed management and orchestration of 6G services. The research will delve into techniques enabling distributed orchestration across diverse technological and administrative domains. Several approaches will be investigated to achieve such a vision, which includes state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) aproaches, such as Large Language Models (LLM) and Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL), as well as novel network management paradigms, including Intent Based Networking, Autonomous Networks, and Zero Touch Service Management. Our aim is to enhance current frameworks to support distributed orchestration and realize proof of concepts to validate our proposed solution using open source tools such as Kubernetes, OpenAirInterface (OAI), and FlexRIC.
